Why some affirmations do not work and what to do about it?

In order for an affirmation to work for us, our mind must have no resistance to the bias that is embedded in it.

Example: if you've been afraid of change all your life and you know it, and you start repeating the affirmation "I'm ready for change", your mind won't believe it even after 100,000 repetitions. After all, your statement that you are afraid of change has been with you for too long.

To change this bias, you need to act in several stages, which are offered by the "Scaping" technique.

"SCAPING" TECHNIQUE

  1. During the week, repeat the affirmation, starting with the phrase:

    "I have an illusion..." I have an illusion that I am afraid of change.

  2. For the next 2 weeks, repeat the affirmation, starting with the phrase:

    "I like to think..." I like to think that I'm ready for a change.

  3. After three weeks of preparation, the brain is finally ready to accept the affirmation:

    "I'm ready for change"

So for affirmations that cause resistance or in which you have little faith, first convince the brain that your old bias is only an illusion, then reassure it that you like the opposite affirmation, and then begin to ingrain the new affirmation.

Read the list of affirmations and write down the ones that resonate the most.

Take no more than three affirmations per week for practice.

Work with affirmations: speak aloud for at least 5 minutes a day or repeat 108 times (approximately 30 minutes).

Speak confidently, but softly, without tension, ideally with a smile :)

A good habit: combine a walk with affirmations.

It is advisable to repeat 20 times mentally before going to sleep, as an instruction to our subconscious. It will be a bonus if you hang the written affirmation in a prominent place, which additionally affects the subconscious.

the technique of rejecting the karma of the family

During practice, you do visualization, first - imagining Mom in front of you, behind whose left shoulder are all the women of her family line (your grandmother, great-grandmother, etc.), and behind her right shoulder are the men of her family line (Your grandfather, great-grandfather, etc.), and then repeat the practice for the Father, imagining him in front of you and also with his two “wings” of the family behind his shoulders (Grandmother, great-grandmother, etc. behind the left shoulder of the Father, Grandfather and other men - behind the Father’s right shoulder).
