Sun Dao is an ancient Daoist practice of healing and integrating body, mind, and spirit.

Sun Dao is based on the control of breath and body. Special ancient exercises open meridian channels and increase energy flow inside, thereby increasing the overall tone of the body and vitality. They develop flexibility, balance, and promote the flow of oxygen through the blood so that all organs in the body begin to work correctly. Sun Dao includes asanas and meditations and can be practiced by everyone, regardless of age, gender, level of training, and religious beliefs.

Sun Dao is an ancient traditional method of training the body, mind, and spirit, preserved and developed in Korea. It occurred about 9700 years ago in the region of Lake Baikal. Our ancestors at that time received the knowledge of how to make the physical body "luminous" - filled with Light. This was the fundamental secret of maintaining human health, a state of freedom from disease, and being in the fullness of energy. This is the practice of a kind of respect for the source of all things and life force in the body. Sun Dao is the progenitor of yoga and qigong, spread from the Baikal region to India and China, and gave rise to these traditions there.

Sun Dao's method itself was preserved in ancient Korea. Having studied and mastered this technique, masters began to teach people. Sun Dao teaching flourished in Korea during the Three Kingdoms Period (approximately 300-700 AD). However, due to political persecution during the Cho-San dynasty and during periods of Japanese domination, adherents of this doctrine were forced to leave people and move to the mountains. In this way, Sun Dao was transmitted secretly in the mountains until 1967, when Master Chang-San again revealed it to people. He wanted people all over the world, regardless of religion, race, or nationality to be healthy and enjoy a better quality of life through the practice of Sun Dao.

In April 1970, Master Chang-San opened Sun Dao training center in Seoul, South Korea. Since then, a large number of people of various nationalities, along with Koreans, have been practicing this method. Sun Dao centers now exist not only in Korea. One of them, the “Sun Dao Natural Healing Institute”, is located in Los Angeles, USA, and was founded there by Master Jay-Sheen Yu. Later Dima Kunin learned from him Sun Dao practice and spread it in Kyiv, in particular, at Makoto Dojo - a space for spiritual practices and martial arts, which he created in 2014.

About practice.

Sun Dao exercises are very simple and concise, but they contain deep wisdom.

The focus of Sun Dao practice is on the lower energy center of our body, the lower Dan Tien. Through the system of meridians, the vital energy from the Dan Tien spreads throughout the body to vital organs. When the lower Dan Tien is filled with energy, it begins to flow upward on its own into the heart, filling the middle Dan Tien. When the middle Dan Tien is filled, the energy naturally flows to the upper center and you become whole.

Blocks in the body are connected with emotions. They occur when the level of Qi energy is low. These exercises activate Qi in the meridians and in areas where it was blocked - connection is restored. The most effective way to release blockages is through simple sips, deep breathing stretches, and a sense of connection to the entire universe that is always in motion.

Sun Dao's method can be easily learned and practiced by everyone. All it takes is sincerity and intention. Everybody can benefit from Sun Dao, regardless of religion, ideology, age, physical abilities, and health status.

The practice lasts an hour and runs like that:

• a small introductory instruction and communication

• activating and awakening the energy system of the body

• diving into our inner space and slowing down

• by special breathing technique we train our focus and fill the brain, organs, and every cell of the body with oxygen, which significantly improves their work and our well-being

• gain absolute peace and clarity

• share insights and feelings after meditation

• hugs to share and multiply our energy
